Volunteer at Our School

PARENT PARTICIPATION HOURS:  All Aptitud parents are asked to participate/support their children’s education through providing service to the school in the form of parent participation. Alum Rock Board Policy asks for 30 hours of service to the school. 

Volunteering is a great way to stay involved in your child’s education and help build a strong school community. There are many ways to complete your hours, including helping in the classroom, assisting with school events, supervising field trips, preparing materials at home, or serving on school committees.

We welcome all types of support—whether you can help during the school day, after school, or from home. Every hour makes a difference and shows students that their education is a shared priority.
